System hangs while updating data

Installing and configuring Tera-WURFL on your server.

System hangs while updating data

In last step of installation, when clicked on update database using local xml copy system cpu and memory usage increases,
and after some time it hangs. It is consuming more memory and cpu.
There was no option left other than manual retart.
How long does it take to update db from local xml file ?

It typically takes 10-20 seconds to update if the database is on the same server as Tera-WURFL. Are you using a separate database server?
