BlackBerry 9630

Postby playadz » Fri Jul 16, 2010 11:18 am

Hi,

as I do some testing on device detection, I wanted to add a custom property to the BlackBerry 9630

user agent:
Code: Select all
BlackBerry9630/4.7.1.40 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105

device_id:
Code: Select all
blackberry9630_ver1_subua

fall_back:
Code: Select all
blackberry9630_ver1

but I just found out that the fallback id does not exist!

Is it a bug?

Thanks

I am looking into this and the other post you submitted. This is indeed a bug if there is not a fallback. In fact, if Tera-WURFL does detect this condition it should show up in your error log as well.
Thanks,

I have a serious issue with my blackberry tour 9630 it keeps beeping a red light & won’t boot up! all previous suggested ways of fixing a nuked bb won’t work coz the phone does not get recognized by computer, when I plug-in the phone no beep, no sound nothing! & that where the fun begins! any way of solving this issue??, I have swapped data cables, tried using new battery, bought new data cables, but still nothing, I have used different computers, installed bb usb moderm drivers on my computer, checked usb port settings but nothing so far has enabled the phone be detected by the computer so as i begin reloading new software, even using the cmd prompt doesn’t work!

Any help would be much appreciated! & it was an eBay buy with no warranty! help please!
